Chema Alonso

Speaker Bio

Chema Alonso studied Computer Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and earned a PhD in Cybersecurity at Rey Juan Carlos University. Founded Informática 64 in 1999, later acquired by Telefónica and renamed to ElevenPaths, its cybersecurity division. Joined Telefónica in 2013, becoming Chief Data Officer and Chief Digital Officer, leading projects in AI, Big Data, and security during 14 years being an EXCOM member and Cybersecurity Board member. In 2025 he moved to Cloudflare to play the role of Vice President, Head of International Development. His role focuses on driving Cloudflare’s global expansion, strengthening its presence in Europe and Latin America, and building strategic alliances.
