Session Description
Humanoid robotics, AI with physical presence, are leaving the lab, but are they ready for the real world? This session explores the latest breakthroughs in perception, mobility, and manipulation, and examines where embodied AI will first make an impact, from warehouses and factories to healthcare and homes. We’ll discuss the risks & responsibilities, standardiszation, and ecosystem of embodied AI, including safety, accountability, and human-like behaviour, and consider its transformative effects on labour, productivity, and the future of work.
