Khaled Muhtadi is an accomplished telecom executive with over 25 years of experience and full P&L responsibility in leading and directing international telecom and information technology operations in the US, Middle East, and Africa.  Khaled’s well rounded telecom executive experience spans software development, consulting, mobile operations, telecom vendors, and infrastructure management companies. 


Khaled completed a bachelor of science degree in computer science and a master’s degree in software engineering, both from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.  Khaled’s past  telecom career Highlights are:



  • COO of Djezzy (Orascom Telecom Algeria)

  • COO of Zain Bahrain

  • CEO of Zain Sudan

  • CEO of Zain Tanzania

  • Headed Ericsson Managed Services Practice in the Middle East

  • VP of Ericsson Managed Services Business Development in North America


In the towerco Industry since 2017:



  • Khaled was Group VP of Operations at IHS Towers

  • Executive Advisor at TAWAL

  • CEO of LATIS (Golden Lattice Investment) a highly successful PIF owned towerco in Saudi Arabia with over 8,900 towers under operation.

  • Khaled is now Chief Transformation Officer of TAWAL following PIF’s acquisition of TAWAL and the merger with LATIS
