Samuel Gil

Speaker Bio

Samuel Gil, CFA is a Venture Capital investor and Managing Partner at JME Ventures, a Madrid-based early-stage, sector-agnostic fund that supports technology startups from idea to exit with strategic, operational and financial backing.

He began his career in energy trading at Iberdrola and technology consulting at Accenture before transitioning to venture capital, including time as an Investment Manager at Faraday Venture Partners.

Samuel holds an MBA from IESE Business School, an MSc in Information Technology, and a background in Telecommunications Engineering. He is also a CFA charterholder and a Kauffman Fellow.

Beyond investing, he builds community and insight through Suma Positiva, his widely read newsletter on startups, technology and innovation.

Samuel lives in Madrid, where he balances his professional life with his passions for reading, travel, and electric guitars.
