Ricardo Lopez Barquilla is a seasoned Software and Hardware Engineering Manager and Product Maker with a passion for shipping great products that touch the lives of many people. As the VP of Partner Engineering at Meta, Reality Labs and AI, he leads a team of talented engineers focused on helping partners get the most out of existing and future Meta technologies, including AI, smart glasses, VR and MR . Prior to joining Meta, Ricardo spent over two decades at Microsoft, where he held various leadership roles, including VP of Devices HW/SW, leading key Surface and Xbox teams. He also co-founded All4Cure, a platform that brings together patients, clinicians, and researchers to share medical information and develop innovative ways to collect, abstract, display, and analyze cancer data. With a PhD and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Ricardo is well-equipped to tackle complex technical challenges. His specialties include shipping products that just work, building great teams, and providing analogies that stick.
