Bagdat Mussin

Speaker Bio

Bagdat Mussin is the current Chairman of the Board of “Kazakhtelecom” JSC. From September 2020 until April 2024, he served as the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Before that, he worked as an Advisor to the President of Kazakhstan on digitalization and innovative technologies.

Earlier in his career, B. Mussin gained significant experience in the private sector, serving as Chairman of various corporations and founding IT startups as an entrepreneur. He has played a key role in driving Kazakhstan’s digital transformation, including major initiatives for moving public services online.

He also serves as President of the Sports Programming Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
