Dr. Karsten Wildberger

Speaker Bio

Dr. Karsten Wildberger, born in 1969, comes from Gießen and holds a doctorate in physics.

After working as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group and international leadership positions at T-Mobile, Vodafone, Telstra (Australia) and E.ON, he was responsible as CEO at Ceconomy AG and Managing Director at Media-Saturn-Holding for the digital transformation of one of the biggest European retail companies. Under his leadership the online business was expanded and innovative digital business models were established.

Since May 6, 2025, he is Germany's first Federal Minister for Digital Affairs.
