Speaker Bio

I am Montserrat Cano, currently CEO of Nanoligent, SL. I have over 25 years of experience in the drug discovery and pharmaceutical industry in several therapeutic areas. I have worked for international pharmaceutical companies like GSK (UK), or Ferrer International (Spain), and small biotech like Spherium Biomed (Spain). I have been responsible for the design and synthesis of New Chemical Entities, directly supervising a group of up to 10 people, and Project Leader of preclinical and clinical pharmaceutical projects in several therapeutic areas, like oncology, CNS, antibacterial, and nephrology. I am Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and BBA (Bachelor Business Administration) from EAE School of Business.
