Session Description
Harmonised governance frameworks in areas such as cybersecurity, internet governance and data privacy are crucial to supporting investment, protecting and empowering citizens, and driving the digital economy. But achieving international cooperation and alignment is a lengthy process, even when the needs are urgent. This opening session of the GSMA Ministerial Programme will reflect on the successes, challenges and opportunities in global digital policymaking and consider the growing importance of public-private partnership in solving complex global issues.
Every year we are honored to present the Government Leadership GLOMO Award to a government who has fostered the true spirit of digitalisation in their national agenda. The winner will be announced and presented with the award at the conclusion of the session.
